Finishing
Here at Pulsar, we take pride in the fact that we provide an in-house service for finished goods. We provide powder coating, media blasting (sandblasting), brushed finishing, and anodizing.
Powder Coating
Powder coating is a metal finishing process that offers greater durability, impacts resistance, and impressive wear characteristics in comparison to other traditional finishing processes. powder coating comes in a vast variety of colors and texture finishes.
Media Blasting
Media blasting consists of a chamber in which glass pellets or sand travels through a nozzle at high rates towards the surface of the metal causing indents that help clean and give a finish depending on the customers’ needs.
Anodizing
Anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. Aluminum is ideally suited to anodizing, although other nonferrous metals, such as magnesium and titanium, also can be anodized.
Brushed Finishing
Brushed or dull polished metal is metal with a unidirectional satin finish. It is produced by polishing the metal with a 120–180 grit belt or wheel then softening with an 80–120 grit greaseless compound or a medium non-woven abrasive belt or pad. For example, look at stainless steel appliances.
